This is a program for women whose person (spouse, partner) has died.
You will be encouraged to listen to your own inner wisdom about your grief journey rather than what a grief illiterate [Insert all the stupid crap people say here] culture tells you.
We will use creative modalities (collage, art-making, journaling) to have fun (!) and make art with a bunch of other women who are learning to navigate grief.
It’s not about the art. The art is you. The art is your life.
You DO NOT have to “be an artist” to join.
We will utilize different expressive arts modalities (journaling, collage, soul collage®, altered books, art and alter making) to help you carry grief with more grace. No previous art experience is necessary. It’s not about the art! The art is you. The art is learning to live your life again, with creativity, compassion, and perhaps even a tiny- or large- bit of joy.
When you register, you will receive:
An art journal,
oil pastels,
soulcollage® cards,
scissors, glue, a box, fun collage-ing things,
paints and paint pens, a candle for your altar,
a free copy of Dr. Linda’s book, After Your Person Dies, so that you will have all the supplies you need!
8 virtual small group sessions, private online support, and

Hi, I’m Linda, your badas* creative widowed mom and expressive art facilitator. Art has been a helper for me since I was a shy child who spoke more easily in drawings than words. When my husband died, art helped me again, when words were not enough. In this expressive arts group coaching program we will be using expressive arts to support your grief journey.
Please note: this program is NOT therapy and, as your facilitator, Linda will not be diagnosing or treating any mental health condition.
